The purpose of this project will be to examine the social, economic, cultural and infrastructure elements of the ancient cities, and their correlation to today's world.
By examining the way that ancient cities functioned in different sectors like politics, architecture, education, construction, health, entertainment, mythology, philosophy, culture, transportation, geology, ecology, etc. we will identify areas and ways of improvement in our contemporary societies.
The diversity of the participants, representing different cultures and times in history, at totally distinct geographic regions is very crucial for analyzing the contribution of the ancient world as a group in today’s society.
We expect that participant instructions and educators will acquire enough expertise/knowledge on this particular subject, that they can influence, sensitize and educate related target groups.
